A woman smiling while working on a laptop at home

The group behind the directory.

A quiet Facebook group for women who run the back office. Ask questions, swap referrals, compare notes.

Small, quiet and genuinely helpful.

The directory is how clients find you. The group is how you find each other. It is deliberately low volume. A handful of good threads a week beats a feed nobody reads.

It is free to join and you do not need a listing to be there, though most members have one.

What people use it for

Ask the awkward questions

Rates, scope creep, late payers, contracts that read badly. The things you cannot ask a client.

Pass work on

Fully booked, or asked for something outside your lane. Post it and someone here can take it.

Compare systems

What people actually use for invoicing, project tracking, inboxes and reporting, and what they dropped.

Six rules

  1. 01

Be useful. Answer the question that was asked, not the one you wanted.

  2. 02

No pitching in the comments. Promotion goes in the weekly promo thread only.

  3. 03

No poaching another member's client, ever.

  4. 04

Keep what is shared inside the group. Screenshots stay in the group.

  5. 05

Share rates honestly. Undercutting the room hurts everyone, including you.

  6. 06

No multi level marketing, no course funnels, no cold DMs to members.

Request to join

Requests are read by a person, usually within two days.

Be findable as well as connected.
